Event: UMOJA Black History Month Celebration - February 8, 2020

Features performances by children and adults in park programs, vendors of African American products and attire and food vendors featuring soul food menus. Enjoy music and informational vendors as well. Entertainment begins at noon.

Special Needs Event: Chicago Children’s Museum’s inclusive, multisensory exhibits and programs Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier, 700 East Grand Avenue, Suite 127

Held the second Saturday of every month, Play For All (PFA) events invite children and families with disabilities to experience Chicago Children’s Museum’s inclusive, multisensory exhibits and programs. The museum opens 1 hour early, at 9 am, for pre-registered guests.

Cost: The first 250 visitors to register receive free admission. Groups that register are also free, and we provide transportation. Off on a Monday? Children and their caregivers explore different areas of the Children’s Garden in the winter and the Play and Grow Garden in the summer through play and educators provide story time read-alouds, imaginative play, and sensory activities.
