Speaking of free museum admissions: Did you know that the Chicago Public Library lets you check out museum passes?! All you need is a library card. Passes are available at all CPL locations but they get checked out quickly. If you are looking for a pass to a specific museum you can use the CPL website to check which branches have passes available at a given time. If you are looking to explore something new just stop by your local branch and see what’s available! (Note: the passes are only for families. At least one person in the party must be under 18 and no more than 2 adults are admitted with each pass.)
