Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

Chicago might be one of the largest urban areas in the country, but there is still plenty of nature here. The Peggy Notebaert Museum helps children wonder about, discover, and explore all that the nature of the Midwest has to offer. On August 19 and 26 the museum is hosting “suggested donation” days when families can attend for free or for a $10 suggested donation per family. The museum is also always free for teachers and families with an EBT card, who can present the card to receive a discounted admission rate of only $1 per person any time.

If you can’t make it to the museum, the Notebaert museum also provides free Wonder Workbooks to help you explore nature in your own neighborhood!
