UIC Center For Literacy's Highlights (2020)

  • 675 Consultations were provided by the staff in the Resource Center for Autism and Developmental Delays

  • 741 New early Learning parents attended CFL’s Parent Outreach workshops on topics covering family literacy, employment readiness, and financial literacy

  • 201 Parents participated in our High School Equivalency (HSE) courses that were offered in-person and virtually

  • 226 Adult learning parents sought social emotional services and/or resources from the Social Service Department

  • 600 New patrons were received by the Resource Center for Autism and Developmental Delays

Even though 2020 threw the world a curveball, the Center For Literacy was able to pivot, in order to continue to offer programming across all departments. We are grateful for the continued support of all of our partner organizations, and, most importantly, all those in the community that consider our services essential to their family’s well-being.
