UIC Women Self Defense Training by CPD

training group

University of Illinois at Chicago Police officer, Tawanna Clark, and her team provided amazing experiences about self defense. The free four-hour course is designed to introduce strategies, tactics and techniques needed to win a confrontation against an attacker. This course focuses on the individual building confidence in her ability to defend herself. Two hours of an information session introduce a criminal’s mindset and diverse contexts with videos and examples. You may not notice that two hours are already passed! The two hours of practice seems very real! You have to fight to escape the attacker. The class is held on UIC campus on Sundays at 10am.

To sign up, email uicpdawsda@uic.edu or ask questions to the officer, Tawanna Clark (tclark9@uic.edu, or 312-617-9717).
